March 8 International Women's Day

The International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8, originates manifestations of women for "Bread and Peace" - for better conditions of living and working against the entry of their country in WWI. These events marked the beginning of the Revolution of 1917. However the idea of celebrating one day the woman had already emerged from the early years of the twentieth century, the United States and Europe in the context of women's struggles for better conditions of life and work, as well as the right to vote.
