Rock in Rio

Rock in Rio music festival is one designed by Brazilian entrepreneur Roberto Medina and first held in 1985. Originally organized in Rio de Janeiro, hence the name, became a world level event and in 2004, held its first international edition in Lisbon, Portugal.
Throughout its history, the Rock in Rio had nine editions, three in Brazil, four in Portugal and two in Spain. In 2008, was first held in two different locations, Lisbon and Madrid.
The next edition of the festival will be held on 23, 24, 25, 29, 01 and 30 September and 2 October 2011, at Olympic Park City Rock in Rio de Janeiro.
