Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character of literature created by the British physician and writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes is an investigator of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century who first appears in the novel A Study in Scarlet (A Study in Scarlet ) originally edited and published by the journal Beeton's Christmas Annual in November 1887. Sherlock Holmes was famous for use in solving its mysteries, the scientific method and deductive logic.
Sherlock Holmes was born on January 6, 1854, from Holmes's first appearance was in 1887 in Beeton's Christmas Annual in A Study in Scarlet, in February 1891.
